Both are stories of making products you see a real need in the market for and would personally love to own/have. The Lonely Planet one really resonated with me because it’s about travel and family as much as it is about entrepreneurship. Patagonia is awesome because of their uncompromising commitment to the products, their performance and the environment. They always play the “long game”, ie. Do what’s right for your customer and the planet in the long term, even if it puts pressure on near term profitability.
